Protecting your privacy and our (our: “The Head Culture”, “The Head Culture Blog”, and any subsequent subdomains established in relation to “The Head Culture” brand) adherence to United States law regarding various and all privacy practices are our top priority. DEFINITIONS
Customer: a person or entity that makes a purchase of any “The Head Culture” products (i.e. merchandise), and/or service;
Distribution List: a list of subscribers and all data provided by subscribers related to said subscribers;
Personal Data: any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person;
Subscriber: any person or entity on our distribution list who opted to be on said list.
You: a customer, subscriber, or any person/entitiy who visits www.theheadculturcom domain and/or any/all subdomains or services under “The Head Culture” Brand.
Partner: person or entity with a specific agreement with “The Head Culture” to provide or collaborate with us (us: “The Head Culture”, “The Head Culture Blog”, and any subsequent subdomains established in relation to “The Head Culture” brand) to provide a specific product or service related to The Head Culture Brand.
Affiliate: a person or entity affiliated with The Head Culture brand without necessarily having a formal agreement with terms in order to do so, whose policies and/our principles may not specifically align with The Head Culture Brand (i.e. Youtube and podcast guest collaborators)
Contributor: independent individual or entity who share and/or provide content on www.theheadculture.com, blog.theheadculture.com, or any subsequent domains or platforms that represent The Head Culture Brand.
Sponsor: a group, individual, or entity that compensates The Head Culture (typically monetarily) for use, mention and/or promotion of their brand.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION:
General Website use: If you wish to comment on any of our (our: “The Head Culture”, “The Head Culture Blog”, and any subsequent subdomains established in relation to “The Head Culture” brand) content, we ask that you provide your name and email address.
Subscribers: we collect any information you provide to us (Name, email address, and any additional data you consent to providing by completing option fields) for the purpose of delivering standard subscription related content (including, but not limited to news, updates, contests, and promotions). At time of subscription, your name and email address are included in Distribution Lists to that end. The collection, and retention of said data may be performed by The Head Culture, or an authorized third party for the express purpose of delivering subscription related services as described above. You may update your information, or opt out of subscription at any time by emailing contact@theheadculture.com, and your data provided for subscription will be removed from and/or updated on our distribution lists, and any other database on our server for the purpose of sending “The Head Culture” related content. Additionally, your subscription information will not be subject to sale or transfer to any other entity outside of the scope and purpose of sending The Head Culture related content outside of extenuating circumstances, which are described below.
Customers: We (“The Head Culture”, “The Head Culture Blog”, and any subsequent subdomains established in relation to “The Head Culture” brand) only collect financial data and other necessary personal data from customers wishing to purchase The Head Culture products and/or services at time of purchase. The collection and processing of financial and other personal data done by The Head Culture or authorized third party (merchant services or any entity contracted by The Head Culture to process transactions) is only performed with consent of the customer at the time of purchase.
Other: We also collect any other information you provide directly to us with your consent for various purposes. For example, we collect information when you participate in any interactive features or services (i.e. “Ask Anderson”), participate in a contest or promotion, request to become a Contributor, apply for a job, communicate with us via third party social media sites, or request customer support. Outside of optional fields, you may decline to provide information at any time, however, some services we offer require the information being requested (i.e. would be email subscribers not wishing to provide a valid email address will result in The Head Culture having no email to send subscription related content to) in order for the service to be provided.

Information You Post: We collect information about the content you post, including any articles, comments, or interaction with other users’ and/or subscribers regarding The Head Culture content. We also collect information about how you use our services, including content from our partners, affiliates and contributors, The Head Culture content you view and follow, and how you interact with partner, contributor and/or affiliated Content.
Automatically Collected Data: As with most web-based companies, we automatically collect certain information when you visit our family of websites including: Log & Usage information (i.e. type of internet browser or app you’re using to access website, what pages you viewed, and your IP address), and what device you’re using to access our website. Cookies and other trackers allow us to automatically collect data from your visit in order to help boost traffic to our websites and provide you with the best experience possible. Social Media: The Head Culture utilizes social media and other platforms in order to grow and maintain our brand worldwide. Any information gathered or obtained from your participation and interactions with The Head Culture Brand via social media share functions, groups, content sharing, and other related activities may be used in accordance with the policies governed by specific social media platforms. Additionally, certain social media platforms offer marketing tools to entities wishing to reach potential customers and subscribers with common interests within their platform. To this end, data gathered from your social media profile and usage on that platform may be used by third parties (The Head Culture) to offer you content, products and services that match your interests. Publicly Available Resources: The Head Culture may obtain information from third parties who monitor your online activities for analytics and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) purposes. For example, Google keeps track of who searches what, when, and how often. That information is then obtained by other entities (In this case, The Head Culture) who offer content partially based on what search terms are used the most in relation to their subject matter.
USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION
Extenuating Circumstances: The information provided by you and/or collected automatically as described above is stored, maintained, processed, and safeguarded in accordance with United States law and only used for intended purposes. Some extenuating circumstances may require us to share your data which include:
- Third party entities and consultants who provide cyber security, CMS (Customer Management Systems), legal, and accounting services;
- In compliance with lawful requests for information by public authorities as part of law enforcement investigation and/or national security measures;
- If we become aware of any violation or misuse of any of our terms or policies, are violating the law, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of The Head Culture and any of our partners, sponsors, contributors, or affiliates;

Unidentifiable Information: The Head Culture may collect, analyze and share general information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for various operating and reporting purposes.
Ads: The Head Culture, our sponsors, partners, contributors and affiliates may use tracking data automatically collected via cookies, web beacons, and other related tools as described above for advertising, as well as analytics purposes. No personally identifiable or sensitive data is shared without your knowledge and consent.
DATA RETENTION
The Head Culture will retain your personal Data only for the period needed to fulfill its purpose unless a longer period is required by law.
CHILD PRIVACY
